FORTES is a committed art project that pays homage to the humanity and beauty of women's lived experiences. Through a series of works, painter and collage artist Adèle Blais, with 20 years of experience, explores and illuminates forgotten stories of women who have transformed our societies. By capturing the intangible energy of buried memories, she brings them to the surface, offering a reinterpretation of our collective narrative, new historical perspectives, and tools for understanding the world today. Her work exalts vitality with strength and elegance, each detail meticulously chosen to represent the journey narrated in her portraits, thanks to vibrant colors and diverse collage techniques. This project acts as a bridge between past and present, revealing the power, individuality, contribution, and resilience that emanate from women's stories. Adèle Blais celebrates the essential, yet often overlooked, role of women throughout history.

FORTES also embodies a statement, inviting everyone to rethink the place of the feminine in a constantly evolving world and to rediscover the richness of these lived experiences.
